Class IV Laser Therapy
Accelerate healing. Reduce pain.
We match the type of spine pain with the appropriate treatment. Some types of spine pain benefit from manipulation and manual therapy, others from specific exercise(McKenzie) and others may may need more of a strength & conditioning approach. We have a systematic approach in determining the appropriate type of therapy.
“If you are injured, suffering from pain, or even just struggling with mobility issues, definitely call Dr. Alex. He will take the time to get to know you, your history, do movement screenings, and simply spend time learning about your situation. He’s extremely knowledgeable and in the off chance he’s unable to help you, he’ll know which direction or step you should try next. Dr. Alex has been instrumental in my recovery from injuries, prescribes homework and exercises to do to strengthen weak links in the chain, and uses several different methods to get the job done. I can’t praise Dr. Alex highly enough!” -Mariah Baseman
The scientific and clinical research on tendon pain continues to evolve. We are up-to-date and continue to stay abreast the latest strategies to maximize results.

“As a marathoner, I battled plantar fasciitis for literally months before I made an appointment to see Dr. Al. I was in pain and pretty much hopeless in completing the rest of my running year. After a handful of appointments, I was back on my feet running again. Pain free. Dr. Al will tell you it’s “simply textbook” what he did on my foot, but I can’t be fooled. It was magic. I would recommend seeing him to anyone who wants to remain active and feel great!!” Lori Millan

* Golfers elbow (medial epicondylitis)

“Through the course of only four sessions I’m once more overhead pressing, experiencing near full recovery in my shoulders. I’m overhead squatting and snatching after months unable to do so (not heavily yet, but still…). My push press and strict overhead press is nearly back to pre-injury status. Better yet, no pain, no impingement!”

“Alex has done an amazing job helping me maintain my physical well being. I’ve seen him for my IT band, hip, and foot. He has worked his magic each time I visited, to ensure that I could be out running, safely and pain-free, the following day. Alex is knowledgeable, hard-working, and really knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend him!“ Lori Smestad, Triathlete

Since most orthopedic and sports injuries do not require surgery the quick answer would be yes, most likely. Not only can I perform the workup needed for an accurate diagnosis but I can also provide the treatment and rehab. If you are not in the right place, you will be sent immediately to the best provider for your condition.
Treatments are a blend of manual thearpy (hands on treatment to the joints and soft tissues) and progression of exercise plan.
I try to get people better in as few visits as possible. Some people just need a visit or two to figure out whats wrong and how to treat it. Others need more guidance and hands on therapy. It really depends on the condition, how long its been going on and so forth. Many overuse soft tissue conditions can be cleared up in 4-6 visits with a compliant patient.
Not usually. Imaging is a waste of your money unless it will change treatment or how we manage your condition, ie referral options. I do order X rays, MRI’s and other diagnostic studies (through Thedacare) if needed but this is not routine.
